Steve Braithwait Presents at AEIC Annual Load Research Conference and WLRA Fall Conference

Dr. Braithwait recently evaluated the demand impacts of Gulf Power Company’s Energy Select program. In September, he presented the evaluation results to the 2014 AEIC Annual Load Research Conference and the WLRA Fall Conference, which were held jointly in Chicago, IL. The Energy Select program combines time-of-use/critical peak pricing with an energy management system and a two-way communications gateway, providing customers with automated control over major energy-using devices. In conducting the evaluation of this program, Dr. Braithwait analyzed load research data for a sample of participating customers.
